“Like me, many other kids in Canada have dyslexia but it goes unnoticed.
It makes us feel awful because it seems like everyone else is smarter then you, but they’re not.
If we were just given a chance to learn, we would.
You shouldn’t have to pay to learn to read, it should be something you learn at school.

My daughter wrote and presented this statement at Queen’s Park at a November 2019 press conference introducing a Dyslexia Awareness Month Act by our MPP Joel Harden.
